CHALLENGE

Design the onboarding flow for Traderverse, a social fintech startup. The flow needed to captures essential user information to tailor their Newsfeed and encourages each user to connect with at least seven friends within their first ten days, following Facebook’s 7 friends in 10 days engagement north star.

The onboarding designs were created keeping three elements in mind:
1. Experience: Give an exceptional experience while capturing relevant information
2. Hook: The user should have clarity about the product
3. Retention (NOTE: this element is for the product tour which is currently being designed)

INFORMATION NEEDS

Worked with the CEO, CTO and product team to define key data needed to create a Newsfeed that would encourage users to return, send/accept friend requests and engage with the app.
